They made his wife surrender all but 2.5 mil in assets. I hope they go after his sons next. there is just NO way they worked there for that many years, as heads of the company, and had NO idea that daddy had a shell game going. The wife was the one that led investor after investor into his scheme, and now she gets to walk away with millions while many others have nothing.

I am thrilled that he got 150 years, but not thrilled that he will end up in a fluffy jail. As a white collar criminal, he will be taken to one of the 'country club' style places.

As ben stein said when he was approached with some of the numbers that were presented by Madoff's family to get him to invest, he said "there is NO way this type of numbering is accurate, and if it is, someone needs to go to jail." Go Ben!

He wouldn't want to be released back into society....at least not right now!! There are too many people with a bone to pick with him.

I think he got off pretty easy. He'll be in a cushy facility......3 meals a day, 24/7 security.

I think the worst (or best) thing he could have gotten was released.....he'd have never made it down the courthouse steps!
