Even in Maine...
Now I am not afraid of snakes, probably because we don't have poisonous snakes here, but this one, I'd run from! :eek:

The picture didn't show up for me......but that's OK. I can only imagine how scary seeing THAT snake would be!

I must've been 9 or 10 when I walked into a brick shed, pitch black. Turned around to walk out and found the entrance surrounded by snakes. Probably garters. Why I didn't notice going in, who knows. But I froze. The neighbor boy had to *rescue* me.

I've had a phobia about 'em ever since.

I have respect for all animals but snakes I actually fear. Now where I'm moving to, there are 5 kinds of poisonous snakes. Oh yippee.
