Default Wahoo!! I am doing the happy dance!!

I have water!! Today the contractor came and put in our water lines. Now we have safe drinking water that comes out of our tap instead of water filled with arsenic. This means no more lugging gallon jugs of water from the store, up and down the stairs and to pour into ice cube trays. Anyone want to come over for a glass of ice cold water? Any takers? Of course with the cost that was incurred to get this water I may just have to charge a small fee for each ice cube.

Think of all the money you saved on gym fees!

Wahoo is right!!

My family had to haul drinking water...back before we had plastic milk jugs... in 10 gal water coolers and whatever else my Mother could scrounge up. Our bath and laundry water came from a dugout my Dad bulldozed when he built the house. Drinking water came from my grandparents community well. After 8 years of lugging drinking water home, my parents could finally afford to have community water run to the house! As a 12 year old I thought it was a blessed day to not have to bath in pond water!

Well, Hallelujah, Karousel!

I'd have arm-wrestled you a year ago after I'd been on crutches for 6 weeks, lol!

I will count my blessings that I only had to haul drinking water for 8 months and still had bath water. I couldn't imagine doing it for 8 years!!! Wow.
