Is he here yet?

Don't have much advice. After having 2 babes overdue, I still don't have much advise. (DD19 - 1 week late and DD17 2 weeks overdue but per Dr. after she was born he estimated 3 weeks.) With DD17 I tried everything. When she finally decided to make her entrance she dropped and was born all at the same time in less than 2 hours. Sadly, she broke her collar bone from being born too fast.

I have heard that castor oil works as well as evening primrose. The castor oil has a down side though and I decided I didn't want to take the chance. Castor oil causes diarrhea (contracting muscles) which in turn helps the uterus contract and gets the good ole prostaglandins working. The downside would be dehydration for the mom from the diarrhea. (Hence, the reason I never tried it. I didn't want to have diarrhea AND be in labor AND get dehydrated.) Should Gina decide to do this, make sure she drinks plenty of water.

Let us know when the big day arrives.

Yep, so true. I was on the pot when Jim called and asked if anything was happening. It sure was!

is right! DD19 was 9 lb 15 oz and 23 in long. But I always tell people that proportionally, she was no different than DD17 who was 7 lbs 4 oz and 21 in long.

BTW - It is like having a 3 month old baby. No newborn clothes ever fit DD19. LOL

OMG! 10 pound babies?! you just cant bounce back from that.

Mine was 5lbs 13 oz. he was a teeny lil tater. I had natural childbirth. no drugs.

the daughter was adopted, so her birth was way easier.

ok, now put a peice of cheesecake at momma's knees, tell her to shout up to Jr, to tell him that his dessert is ready. when he sticks his nose out to sniff, hook a nostril, and yank him on down.

Good luck!

I appreciate all the suggestions and have tried several of them with still no success. I've walked a hundred miles, ridden on every bumpy road in town and gotten as far away from the hospital as I dare. I tripped and fell while fishing last night scraping my shins up, but still that did not jolt this little guy out. Caster oil sounds like a bad time and I can wait until tomorrow when I'll be induced. The waiting game is nearly over and I'm sure he'll arrive big and healthy. Thanks for the support!
