Default Would you trust 1 1/2 inch of glass to hold you....

up 103 stories or 1,353 feet above the sidewalk? They are opening a new sky deck on the 103rd floor of the Sears Tower in Chicago tomorrow. There are 4 boxes, 4 x 8 that hold people out from the tower. I don't know if I could do it, but it is impressive. Link below for the story.

I'm too much of a chicken. I couldn't stand on something like that. Let us know if you do it!

I think I'd do it but I'd have to be in my wheelchair and bring a barf bag. I still want to do the one over the Grand Canyon, send me some money.

And Earl, I can't possibly get there in time to be the first, that honor will have to go to someone else.

Wonder if it would be any worse than the Eye of London? That was pretty amazing actually, I brought my then 7-month old son right up to the glass and we stuck our noses against it to peer down at the city. Ahhh, wanna go back to London now...

Well, we discussed the possibility since we live here. Nope, we'll let someone else. I would lie down and stick my head into the contraption though! At least if it breaks then I'll get beheaded and it's a quick death. I pity the people standing on it if it malfunctions. lol Wait, that's not even funny.

Jim said absolutely no way in he11 is he riding his power chair on that small glass shelf. I can't blame him for that!

Maybe some day, but for now, no, let the tourist enjoy it and test it out.

I did vote after AMN!
