I bet she doesn't even remember the ride home. I remember when my granddaughter was born. The ride home, all I was thinking was all the things i wanted to do with this wonderful new baby - the stories I'd read to her, the bubbles to blow, the songs to sing, the cakes to bake, the hugs and kisses. I wondered how many times I could possibly say *I love you* to another human being, if I could ever tell her how much she made my heart melt.

I think she knows that now.
