Default Life in General

Hi Everyone - I have been pretty distant from NT, but I have also been distant from so much in my life. The last year my life has taken a turn that I didn't know how to handle but have learned so many lessons through it. I am blessed to have so many friends here at NT that have supported me through it. Thank you.

In the last month you know that I have gone through relationship troubles and have moved to an apartment of my own.

I now have a home - a place that I can call my own and it feels good. I can wear sweatpants all day and not feel guilty, I can have breakfast food for supper if I want and no one is going to complain, I can go to bed at 7:30 and no one is going to say "you can't go to bed it is to early", I can do what I want because it is my home!

Thank you for your support through my trials and tribulations over the last year. Knowing I can come here and get a smile, support, prayers, or just a hug has made it all go just a little bit smoother.

I'm so happy things are going well for you, Char. I know it's been a long road. You deserve the best and it looks like it's finally happening for you.

I'm glad that it sounds like you're adjusting well. You never know what life is gonna throw at you. And sometimes it seems like a tough row to hoe for sure. But I believe it is always darkest before the dawn.

And I try to pay attention to the whole ride, even those awful times. (I'm trying to pack a whole house, clean up and paint after 20 yrs here! ) Some of the best stories come from these kinds of trials.

and I know that after this, it'll all be SO much easier.... at least it'll have to FEEL easier in comparison.

And yeah, it is pretty cool eating whatever you want once you remember what that is. I had Little Debbie snack cakes for dinner, lol.

Big hugs for Char!

I love scrambled eggs for dinner! There are days when I just dont wanna get out of my sweat pants, and other days I cant get out of my PJs. I am so happy that you have landed in a place that makes you feel safe, and loved.

You are loved!

You're rockin', Lambchop! As a committed single chick, I must completely agree, it's best to do what I want, how I want, when I want, and not do it if I don't want to.

My (big) little brother is down here today, it's his 45th birthday and we two are the only of the six sibs who have not married. We were just cawfee tawking about how much we appreciate our freedom and contentment.

Don't compare yourself to others, concentrate on what you do have and remain thankful throughout your days. It's much easier and life has a way of rewarding you for it.

Good for you, Char! I think I'll have bacon & pancakes for dinner tonight -- care to join me?

We love you little Lambchop. You just do what you want when you darn well please. I'm glad you finally have your own home. Life is too short to be in a stifling relationship.

DH has learned to give me space finally. Not all men (or women) can adjust to that. I think when you give a person room to breathe, you're more likely to benefit more from the relationship by the gratitude you get in return.

Isn't that a great feeling? I've become so accustomed to doing what I want, when I want and HOW I want that I honestly don't think I'd do well adjusting to another person invading my space.

I love my freedom. And I love my solitude. Never thought I'd be saying that but I do.

Enjoy your newfound space.....it's a wonderful thing!
