Well, I will be dumping the big dope (DH) off for a 50 miler through the Olympic National Park backpack outing (tints of green coming out) and then down the Oregon Coast to the Redwoods and some other places if I remember to pick him up from his little jaunt.(still green, yeah...times like that, is when MS really chaps my hide!)

I hear you loud and clear, Trippy, today at PT we tested my ability to get up without something to climb up on, and nada. My fantasy about tent camping again might have to stay in the clouds.

I guess a lot of us miss our roughing it days and have had to make adjustments to either continue or modify how we enjoy the outdoors. For me, it is sissy camping.

Last weekend as DBF and setting up his new tent in the back yard to make sure all pieces and such were there, I asked him if he could take me "roughing it" in it in the back yard when he gets back. LOL At least I would get some of that excitement from camping but can go indoors if I get too uncomfortable. LOL I know, kind of like a tease but hey it's close enough. LOL

Slap! Snap out of it! It has only been a month my bot test subject. It just might take a little bit longer to do that trick! You might have to start slowly with the tent camping gig and say, next summer, camp in one of those, gulp, state parks!

You have much more to achieve with Skippy there!

I have to agree with Taffy AMN, it has only been a few weeks. If you are suppose to camp again you will! Keep the faith!

Now...guess what I did today??

Not a darned thang after I got out of work at 7:00 a.m. cause I am ON VACATION until August 17th!



I have to do a six hour hell ride tomorrow morning, but other than that and it's matching repeat ride on the 8th, and a few appts. for me and the man...vacation!

I expect to come out the other end of my vacation with no hospitalizations/fit/happy/healthy/satisfied/tired and wishing I didn't have to go back to work!

We are camping again this wkend and the weather sounds purrrrfect, around 75. I'll think of you when I sip my Margarita. Why don't you stop by and make some for us???
