Smile We are all so lucky...

...to have this place. A place we can go at anytime, to get a hug, or a shoulder to lean on, a laugh, or a sympathic ear... a place where we can stomp and scream, with noone to tell us to shut up and sit down! A place where there are no social classes, we all love one another the same! A place to just sit and listen to others... We are all so lucky... the day I stumbled on to this message board (well it was the old place first, but some of the same people were there) I didn't even know what a message board was. it was just dumb luck that I found you all. You are hear when I'm lonely.... or sad... You are hear when I'm rejoicing, or praying... whenever I need you, you are here. Thank you NT and Friends!

Right back at ya...

I feel the same way. I get so much silent support from you guys. and when I tell, say my specialist or the ms nurse, that my support is an online forum, they look at me a bit odd. But i don't care.

Thank you from me too.

Too true. I have the lazy gene and would never go to an actual MS meeting or support group. I would be totally isolated as far as MS goes without my virtual friends here. I never discuss MS with my "regular" friends, they are full of incorrect assumptions and bad advice (enough with the bee sting therapy recomendations and diet soda horror stories already!).

I haven't told my docs I have an online support group, but my friends and family hear all about you. Sometimes I think they're a wee bit jealous.

Not my fault if you guys are funny and fun to chill with.

I will just add my post to this thread.

I don't NEED to explain MS to friends any more. I can safely speak here and be understood.

You all allow me to move forward with MS giving me knowledge and comfort. And some REALLy good laughs.

We need to remind each other of this often--thanks for starting the thread!

I ALWAYS refer to this as an "online support group" because "message board" sounds too much like lost cats and used cars for sale than the community this is.

I talk about NT all the time. Like Brain said, I think some of my friends and family are a little jealous of the bond we all have.

This place is the best. I love it and I love all the dear friends I've made here. Some I've never met but I feel like I know you all!

Actually, I think my Family is relieved that I have this wonderful place to vent my fears and just have fun. It keeps me from whining to them about this and that.....the twirps..LOL!!
