"HI" everyone!
Been sometime since I've been on. Try my best to curb the desk and keyboard time. I don't know about you guys but the aches and pains have dramatically increased with the weather changes for me. Anyone else having the same issues? I was told sometime ago I had fibromalgia symptoms by Dr. Ellis. I poopoo'd it. I realize many of you have it. Is FM & TOS go hand in hand? This is the first time I can link all this increase in aches and pains to TOS & FM. I never knew it could be possible. Just thought it was just all TOS pain. Crap, does anyone have any aches, pain, fatique suggestions besides drugs?? Cyn |

oh yeah...
fall is here in oregon now - changed like a switch was flipped. was upper 80s a few days last week - now 65 and rain- looks like all week. plus I did major house cleaning saturday- had my parents up for dinner, it was my dads birthday so sunday was a lazy day. my right shoulder doesn't like it when I do a lot of scrubbing- LOL have a bit of a knot in that side neck/shoulder muscle too not bad just pesky. do you have those tender points the FM sites mention? I guess some of it you can tell by if it is all over vs more upperbody only. but that's just my thoughts on it. I had some of the tenderpoints but not really any of the fatigue and my skin being touched is not problem at all. Last edited by Jomar; 09-18-2006 at 09:51 AM. |

I already pulled my heavier gloves out... the cold causes my skin to actually burn (RSD BULL) should see me during the summer going grocery shopping and putting on gloves in the frozen section, people think I am losing it (little do they know my mind has been gone for some time now) and if I may say so welcome back !!!!

My body is so used to cold.
Ice is what I started on when TOS started. And now it LOVES cold. But, I think FIBROMALAGIA is what I have going on. Aches and pains up and down my whole body. The heat swells me up and stiffins my muscles. So, there is No way one or the other helps. Back and forth Like contrast showers and swimming. |

How about Chronic Fatigue syndrome?
I'm beyond tired at the drop of a hat can fall asleep almost any time. Fight to stay awake, Caffeffine helps LOVE STARBUCKS helps I make my own imitation at home. Or is this TOS too? Is not totally my drugs been on them too long. My hands also hurt at the grocery store in summer in frozen food section. And any where that is keep highly airconditioned restuarants etc will make me bring in the jacket I keep in the car. Today it is 54 degrees outside yesterday was in upper 70's I'm feeling it. Still wondering about the chronic fatigue if anyone has ever been DX with it? Along with TOS or if they also go hand in hand? Anyone? G-mom |

I wonder if they have a chronic fatigue forum set up here yet?
You might get some info from there if so. I don't recall anyone mentioning CFS on the TOS forum before- but there's always a first time. I wouldn't be surprised that many are still getting mis dx'd with all the overlap of so many of the sx- between chronic myofascial pain, chronic fatigue, RSI, Fybromyalgia, TOS, c spine issues and others. I think anytime your body gets maxed out and overstressed you can become susceptible to other illnesses. |

The fall arrived here in Northern CA. almost overnight too. Yes I am aching also, and I think the additional aching and freezing toes and fingers just wears me out!!
As far as the fibro, I do think it can go hand and hand with the TOS. They are so inter-related. I used to love the fall... not so much anymore Hugs to All, G~ |
