Default KINESIO TAPINGS (Part 1) (says 5 is max)

My therapist and I put these together for you all.

(Also on my right chest and arm there, I see those blue surface viens that I think are new and are a result of collateral blood supply. When I get out of a hot shower I see them very well. Kinesio tape covers them up on chest. http://www.google.com/search?source=...ood&aqi=g7g-m2)

She says she's not a photographer and I'm on a diet.

Thumbs up aqua therapy

i have had aqua therapy (for my rib). this particular therapist gave me a lot of theraband stuff and i was like, well, i can do that, but only if the theraband does not stretch (isometric).

i have also had aqua bed. you lay on this bed where water jets on the plastic sheet that is under you, giving you a water massage. that was great. the machine is quite expensive so the only place i ever saw it was at the med school. however, if you put on a bathing suit you can probably make one at home, only the water won't be heated.

i would use saw horses and two by fours, nail a tarpaulin to the two by fours. find some bored child to spray the bottom with a pressure nozzle.

Yes you have my permission to print, copy or send, and anyone else who needs to use them. I have other tapings I used. Hubby and I will get to that. It really helped me a lot, with ADLs and training me not to overextend my injured areas.

I used to act like I was LeLu on The 5th Element. "I don't know love!" remember?

KINESIO TAPINGS (Part 1) (says 5 is max)-lelu-jpg

I don't do the tapings like in years past. It's funny too. My therapist put those tapings on me like she used to, and they didn't stay on very long. Used to stick like glue, up to 3 weeks, with some spots giving me trouble and would have to put back in place and hold down after showering, trim the frayed edges off. But now, most was coming off before I left the building. Is it a sign? I hope so.

Anything I can share that will help ease someone's suffering, I'm happy to offer it. We've got to stick together to get better, or as "better" as it can be for us TOSers.

Default Aqua treadmill

I have never heard of this. However, my Neuro & others docs have always wanted me to have water therapy however, the ins co wont acknowledge or pay for it. sigh

Have to do all exercises, light stretching prone. NO THERABANDS or weights.

One kinesio taping that helps me is down my posterior & anterior right arm & the traps. My arms always feel like a rubberband so tight, the nerve, muscles feel like they are going to spring they r so taught.

Ins don't want to pay for nothing these days.

I'm in the wellness program now, for over a year.

That's a $30 monthly fee. I can use the land and water exercise equipment.

Thanks BW

I used to be taped up at the back about 15 years ago when I went to a physiotherapist for problems with my neck, scupula and shoulders. I can trace the beginnings of my TOS journey even further back. I could only wear strappings at the time for 4/5 days then a break from them for a week or so them more strappings

I would love to have strapping again but can't have the pre work done due to risk of moving clots or causing bleeds. Not to mention the cost which I can no longer afford. I am thinking hydro therapy may be a better option for me.

Yhanks for sharing I am sure this would relieve pain for some
