Default Hi Dabbo,

Hey!! Rambel away!! That's what we are all here for!! WE all come here to offer and to receive support!! So feel free to express the true emotions that you aare feeling. Sometimes we can't express ourselves in this way around others who don't understand what we are going through!! Hopefully by talking through your fellings and issues here you are better able to cope out there!!

This must be a very emotional time, what with it being your birthday, and having a new darling baby, a sweet wife and a physical illness that you don't know the possible out come of. It is tough to have so much going on at your age when you have your whole life ahead of you. At least for me, it would be real easy to play the "what if" game. That's why it is good to come here and share your feelings and concerns. There are alot of helpful, insightful people here that can help you find your way through the "maze" of living with TOS.

Have you tried those "Moshi " pillows to put under your arms and behind your neck when holding your daughter in a chair or on the couch? The work great for me. I have about ten of them (got them on clearance at Linens and Things for $ 3.99 each) and hubby will pack me with pillows and wedge me in the chair so I can hold my niece. It works great, no weight one me that I can't manage!! Maybe that would work for you as well.

Also, can you try carrying the diaper bag, or bags with a handle on your belt?? I use a belly bag for light things, as I can no longer carry a purse.

I am left handed too with that being the side I had my surgery on, although I am bi-lateral. It is hard to try and re-train to use your right side !! !

Hope you have a pain less day!!
G~

Default Today I..

cannot stay very long in the forum - I still have terrible headaches and have got a date at my familiydoctor tomorrow.

I read all the communications here, the posts of red, gromily, mark, dabbo - I am sorry I can`t answer...maybe in some days I will be able to write more.

I wish you all a good and painfree day,
nice sunny greetings

Barbara,
I hope you're feeling better soon and that your doctor can figure out what's causing your headaches.

Barbara - I'm sorry that your head is STILL hurting. I hope they figure out why soon. I wish I could be of some sort of help, or have some advice. I hope you're feeling better this evening than you were earlier....

Default Today I...

want to say Hi to Barbara and let her know how sorry I am that she is having so many headaches. I remember just after surgery I could only read posts, I couldn't dictate or type due to pain. I remember how frustrating that was !! !! I still have those days... equally frustrating.. ..

and I gotta agree with dabbo that these new smileys are a hoot!!

I hope everyone has an enjoyable Sunday..
God Bless.

Default Today I..

am finally able to answer. Thank you so much for all the post and your thoughts.
It was a kind of migrain the doctor said - this type of migrain is really horrible! And of cours the scalene-muscle was part of these headaches, too.

I got some other meds and I feel much better now - so good, that I tried to bake some christmas cakes this weekend, and I was successful.

I wish you all a good start in a new week without pian!
