Today I
Just want this nasty head cold to "GO AWAY"
Shelley-Thanks for the information that you learned from your hypnosis.. I like the one that says.. Stop needing to know about my illness and obsessing for control. Jo- I'm so glad that you and your computers made up and are friends again  Hopefully no more :mf_argue: And to everyone else.. Have a low pain or best of all pain free week.. Many Hugs  Dawn |
My mother called me this evening to tell me that one of her oldest friends, who along with her husband had been friends of my parents since high school, had died after fighting breast cancer for 23 yrs. She was such a wonderful, strong lady and it's hard to believe she's gone. They had lost their son, who was my brother's age, back in 1980. He and his prom date died on prom night in a car wreck- drinking and going too fast, missed a curve and flipped the car- such a tragedy. This evening, while we'll all miss her, I'm so thankful that her suffering is over and she's in a better place.

Today, I saw the first hint of green across the fields! Maybe spring is coming after all!
Today I am experimenting with my new headset and Dragon! It's nice to be able to post in here without using my arms! Mark, I hope things go well, regarding the morphine pump. I don't know anything about them, but I hope you find some relief! Dawn, I hope your cold gets better soon... we've had one around here for weeks that just won't go away. Shelley, interesting thought about obsessing and control. I'm something of a control freak, and this is a hard one for me... being out of control of my illness and feeling sometimes that its controlling me. Jo, I'm glad you and your computer are on speaking terms again! Red, sorry about your mom's friend. We just lost my husband's aunt recently; she was a very special lady, too. Hoping it's warming up where you all are, and that you'll all be having a good day! |
Today I, am thankful I finally slept in my bed last night fr the first time in 6 weeks! I am thankful after a week of not being able to walk ,that today I can use my legs even if it is slowly! I am also thankful that mine and hubbies pneumonia seemd to be a bit better today! I am also thankful for this place and for each and everyone of you!!!

Today I want to..
Thank Shelley
For the thought process that she shared with us in the "Today I" thread.. I felt confident that it helped me in my appointment with the Dr today to listen and realize that it is ok to wait just a little while longer to see if things work out on there own. Then to proceed with more invasive procedures. I really do feel good about it. Hugs to you Shelley  Quote:
Red- I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your old friend. Donna- I am so looking forward to sping too.. Mark- Best of Luck with the Morphine pump. I do hope it brings you relief. Here is wishing everyone a low pain or mostly a pain free weekend... Many Hugs  Dawn |
hope that shelley was able to avert disaster at work and make her 11AM departure with client to massage.
happy weekend to everyone |
I hope everyone has a good, low pain weekend! Today I went to the primary care doc, who told me he thought i have the flu. that would explain why i feel like i got hit by a mack truck for the last day and a half.....

Hope all of you are able to enjoy a peaceful weekend.
We're having a soggy- but not cold weather front - so a bit dreary. Don't forget the time change this weekend- Daylight savings starts early! |
Technically, this would be "Wednesday, i...."
got really upset with someone who I thought was a friend of mine. He is a PT, and I always thought he was a good guy. He decided to tell my wife that this was all in my head and not a real medical condition, that the sooner I realized that, the sooner I would get over it. Unreal. I wonder if they taught him that in school. If they did, I don't think it would surprise me. |
dabbo- sorry your (ex?) friend is such a moron.
maybe the dog i sent after victoria's mom can bite him too... |
