Default Pain Clinics listings & Residential Programs

Western Canada's Leading Residential Treatment Centre for Chronic Pain and Stress
The primary offering of the The Victoria Pain Clinic is our Ten Day Intensive Residential Program that serves clients who suffer from chronic pain, chronic stress, or stress related illness. It is most suited for those clients who have not responded well to conservative conventional medicine or who wish to explore an alternative to drugs or surgery. A large portion of our clients have had accidents or surgery and continue to experience problems after the normal healing period has elapsed (more than 3 - 6 months). Many of our clients are regular users of medication including opioids and take advantage of the ten days to reduce or eliminate their dependence on medication

Default re pain clinics

Hi guys,

I have to let you know what my pain specilist told me is that a book called Managing pain before it manages you is the program used at many many clinics around the world for chronic pain. I know the mayo clinic uses it as well as many other prominant ones in the USA. I don't have the book handy, but I recommend it to all who want to work on this and work on controling actions related to pain. It talks or relaxation, exercise, diary keeping and knowing your pain as opposed to the emotional effects of life which effect how you percieve your pain.....we know this stuff now right......lol.

just a thought guys
Take care,
love Victoria

I am hoping we can find something in patient immediatly at Jefferson, Rothman, anything near Phila or Allentown area. Dr. Schwartzman is at Drexel/Hanahmann, but he is into detox.or ketamine, not options for long term....

More a long term look at the picture to take medication, to a detox off what it is current, to pain pump. The rehab to rebuild a life.
ASAP in crisis hospitalized near Phila. right now. They will detox, do mental issues, not really deal with pain issues or rehab life.

I decided to try to list as many as I can by state, or country if outside of USA, so the list will be a bit more organized.
I started the list idea when I came across that first website - so I really had no plan at first.

Thanks to all that help build this list - lets keep adding to it.
