Default The N1H1 injection

Hi everybody,

I had the flu shot yesterday and by this AM my entire right side was swollen up, really HARD, my clavicle area was super hard and my mid-back was swollen and hard.

My home nurse used the creams and basically I was as sick as if I had a flu.

I know how immunizations work - there is no live flu virus given, but I don't know what my body was reacting to.

So be careful. I am shocked by this reaction.

Best of luck to all.

Default reaction

tam, you are not supposed to get the flu shot if you are a little sick. i am guessing your tos and rsi qualified you for not supposed to, but this is just a theory. also, some have a reaction to the chicken eggs they make the vaccine from.

They may have hit something and irritated the area, or if they moved the needle around..

I hope those reactions all fade away soon.

so sorry Tshadow.

You just don't have no good luck at all. I hope it gets better soon.

Still keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. You do have a lot to deal with.
