I have a friend with CRPS that's has the lido infusions every few months or so and is taking these meds. I'm just wondering if anyone with TOS has.

I have used Low Dose Naltrexone and it took 50% of my pain away over night. It has to be mixed by on of the pharmacys on the Lowdosenaltrexone.org site if it is to be done correctly. It is a NMDA antagonist and works on the microglia. I have mine in a liquid because I am so sensitive to be able to titrate. Start at .5mg do not start at 4.5mg and do not go beyond that dosage. MS patients only go up to around 3.0 mg. there have been clinical trials for MS and Fibro at UCSF. Many other uses for other autoimmune diseases it is being used. It is also an immune modulator rand has been used in cancer therapy.

Another helpful NMDA drug is a compounded topical creme made by componding pharmacies. It has been used at UC Irvine for pain patients, USC for RSD and pain patients as well as other university centers. It is my God send. You can have different things compounded in it as I am allergic to some. It usually is 10% Ketamine, 10% lidocaine,10% Ketapufen, 2% Baclofen. It is amazing and helps me on my worst days. I have Lyme disease nerve pain that this is the only thing that helps. And yes I think the Lyme has a lot to do with this TOS as well as RSD. I think all of these things are started by a viral or bacteria etiology and weakens the skeletal structure and of course we all know they attack the nerves.
