my chiro said my neck is "too straight" and i can feel it in my spine theres a large bump and then in goes in too far.
i understand that since im hypermobile it's likely that i just did this to myself over time. but i was wondering if you could develop a straight neck from having tos? |

It often happens with long term forward head use - desk work, computer, art/crafts, reading/studying.etc
I can't remember if it it called lordosis or kyphosis Way back when I was having PT for my shoulder sx only before I knew anything about TOS - the PTs would mention kyphotic posture - but didn't go in to itin any detail -and I didn't ask many questions back then.. it was before we had internet at home. Plus I assumed I would heal up as always and be fine.... images- http://www.google.com/images?um=1&hl...dosis&gs_rfai= It's more of a result of use and postures than a cause.IMO I had a moderate "hump" by the time I went to chiropractor and after the worst of my symptoms were resolved with treatment the hump went to a more normal appearance. {misalignments and extreme tension?? perhaps}

that makes sense to me especially since i'm on the computer so much getting into the IT field. ive never paid attention to my posture or ergonomics until recently. i think focusing more on my shoulder winging would be more useful. maybe my chiro is just trained to focus more on necks, etc.
