Di,

Not sure if you remember me from the old forum since I try to stay away from the computer and don't post much anymore.

Just wanted to say how sorry I am. As a mom myself, I can imagine how terribly difficult this must be. As a forum member, I can hardly think of anyone who has done more to contribute to others. You have always been right there for anyone on the forum who has ever needed you. And I know from all your previous posts what a wonderful mom you were to De and how much love and effort you put into being there for her too. My sincere condolences.

Thanks for posting Mark.

Heart I am so sorry

It is so hard for a child to go before her parents. I can't imagine the agony you are in right now. Know that each and every one of us is "praying" for you. Each in their own way.
May you know and feel the love surrounding you at this very difficult time.

Default My Thoughts Are with You

This news just breaks my heart, Di. I hope you can take some comfort in the fact that her pain is over, at long last. Dee taught us all a great deal, I think, in her young life. Being stricken as she was with TOS as a young teenager robbed her of many rites of passage which many of us have been able to enjoy pre-onset, such as higher education, careers, marriages, having kids of our own, whatever it is that stories like hers helps us to remember to be grateful for in our darkest moments.

The quality of life that Dee was able to have despite the complex chronic pain issues she suffered over the years following her diagnosis any surgeries was because of a loving mother who never gave up, who educated herself and helped countless others in the process.

It is a bitter irony that one of the only meds that brought Dee any relief, or perhaps a combination of meds, may be what slowed her respiratory rate and ultimately caused her untimely death. Di, I have a daughter Dee's age - I think she was around 32? - This is a huge loss for you and your family and believe me will be felt very deeply by all of your extended family members on this forum as well. You are truly loved here. Alison

Di-
I am so very sorry for your loss. There is little one can say to the terrible loss of a child, except that things do happen for a reason, and that hopefully that reason will become clear in time.

Until then, keep the warm thoughts of all the people on this board and know how fondly we are thinking of you.

Default Di's loss

Hello Di,

I'm new & we don't know each other at all & I don't know your "story" about your daughter. But I'm so sorry to hear about her passing.

I have grown sons, & I can't imagine the devastation you must feel at this time. I will also be praying for you & your family.

Denise
