Heart doing well!!!!

hi!
i seem to be doing better than most of the poeple who have posted here! I am off pain meds for the first time in years although there is pain and have a bit of troble deep breathing. tomorrow will be one week. I can walk around well and have done some gardening, and photography, not ready for work as i am a sculptor and need to lift lots of weight. I have always had a very positive attitude and know that i will need one well into my future. this will not take over my life, but will meld into it.

It 's good to hear of a positive & hopeful outcome.

Take your time and let yourself heal as much as you can.

A few members had some problems after accidentally reaching for something that was falling or being in a car accident fairly soon after surgery.

So try not to make quick grabs for things and be very careful while riding with others or driving cars.

Default whoops, didnm't answers shellys question!

Shelley, had my surgery at Sy John's by Dr. Ahn. I have to admit I did have an issue with breathing after until I sneezed the most painful sneeze of my life..breathing is now better! Now there is just some pain where my rib and scalene muscle were.... Left hand still numb, but tomorrow is just a week out and the chest pain had become unbearable! I am starting PT next week! onward! TG
