Default Great Private Doc for Treating TOS in Southern CA

Hi Guys -

Once again, it's been a long time since I've been here. I hope everyone is doing as well as they can be doing, considering the hell we live in!

Wanted to let you know that my long-time doc is now a private "concierge" doctor, and he's looking for patients. Private "concierge" means he does not accept insurance. It's strictly a cash-based "membership" practice. You purchase a membership, and you get to see him whenever you want, and however often you want. So it also means that you get to see him when you need to see him. Even "same day" if you wake up with a nightmare like we normally do. :-)

Dr. Paul is an osteopath. He's the first and only medical professional I've seen who can actually give me some RELIEF on a regular basis. He can manipulate muscles and bones in ways that nobody else can, and he knows a lot about TOS. (I'll take most of the credit for that!) He is absolutely FABULOUS with necks. He also has a thoracic outlet drainage technique that he uses on me that is unbelievable. And he can move ribs without cracking, or without doing anything evasive that tends to hurt us.

When I added up what I paid yearly for chiropractors, massage therapists, and other forms of treatment (which was all in addition to using my insurance for whatever I could), I discovered that Dr. Paul's membership was actually going to SAVE me money. And he's actually my physician of choice when it comes to treating TOS, so now that he's more available and willing to spend a lot of time with me when I see him, it is like a dream come true.

If anyone is interested, you can check out his website (drpaulwillis.com), or you can email him at Dr.Paul@earthlink.net.

His office is in San Dimas, off of the 57 North and Arrow Highway. I drive in from Riverside - totally worth it.

His yearly fee is $2000. You can pay all of it up front, or you can do a quarterly payment, etc. I think there is a discount if you pay it all up front.

Super good referral here for all of you southern CA TOSers!! Honestly, if you're always paying through the nose to see people who "sort of" give you relief, you may want to go with this guy. He has a way of getting to know your body, and just going in and FIXING it, unlike anyone I've ever known.

Hope this helps someone!

Oh! I should also say...

The other cool thing about this is that he is an "actual medical doctor." So he'll take care of all of your medical needs, not just your TOS.

I have my own HMO insurance, and a completely different primary care doc that I use when I need it for other things, like out of office tests, x-rays, referrals to other physicans for other issues, etc. But Paul can do a lot for you in his office. And he's often writing prescriptions for me, helping me deal with my sinuses, and other things, too. So it's a really convenient thing, all around.

It is great if you don't have insurance!! He'll help you with everything he can possibly help you with.

Also, some PPOs will allow you to write off your subscription as your yearly deductible.

So it's really good for any of us in any situation, health insurance or not.
