Default My thoughts today

Dear TOS Family,

After reading DiMarie's post today, it makes me so sad for what she must be feeling,and I just felt like sharing something from my heart with each of you today.

Friends, as hard as it is each day for all of us with this TOS to live are lives to the fullest, do we ever stop and think about how important each day of our lives really are to others?

We all are guilty of becoming so involved in the busy things of life that we just forget how precious life really is.

We never know, as in DiMarie's case, when someone we love so dearly is just gone.

We all never know what tomorrow will bring and with that I would like to tell each and everyone of you how thankful I am to have become of part of your lives in this forum.

I would never want anything to happen to me or any of you without having the chance to say that.

Take some time to watch the short clip I put at the bottom. It touched my heart and I think all of you will enjoy it.

I love you all and thank you so much for what you have added to my life.

Peggy

Default Thanks Peggy

Like I said, my family on the forum "gets it," my loss, and they cry openly for me, they send their love and with weak TOS arms, hug me.
Thanks for the clip, Peg.

Thank you for our friendship Peg and all of the great family here on the forum.
I am thankful for each one of my forum friends.

I think of Ada losing her husband, her life s partner, traveled all that time between the dash in her life.
Ada, I know how lonely you are for that part of your life you had each day, Yes we have still have other loved ones, but it is so lonely for the ache of the person gone.

I have been so very fortunate to meet very many from the forum. It is instant commeradry, There is often a feeling like we knew each other forever. Di

Aahh you made me get all squishy inside-
that video clip is nice too.

I have "met" many good friends and feel very much like I have an emotional connection to all of you - my forum friends, or shall I say forum family- I like that better.

Default Thoughts

The movie is really touching and all that is written there we know - we know there is much more in life than work, money, superficial values,...but often we are inside in this "all-day-life" and forget the essential things of life. Thank you for remembering it!

@Di
I think it is "normal" to have days like this, days when you feel deeply sad. These years with her illness were so intens for you both and now you feel how empty it is without her. The question why this had happened maybe has no answer.
I copy a text from Kant and I will try to translate it:
Wer im Gedächtnis seiner Lieben lebt - who lives in the memory of his beloved
der ist nicht tot, der ist nur fern;-is not dead, only far away;
tot ist nur, wer vergessen wird.- dead is someone when he is forgotten.
Immanuel Kant
I hope you can understand my translation. You doughter is present in all your thoughts and memories - so she is still with you.
Take care,
Barbara

Heart My Dash

I want my dash to have meaning. I want to use it to encourage, and help women to understand and recognize their own power. I want to use it each day to bring a smile to someone's face. To bring meaning to all of the little thins we do each day.
My forum family helps me get through the tough spots. I wouldn't trade any of you for anything in the world. You are special, and each one in their own way is blessed. Thank you for the gifts you have given so freely. Compassion, kindness and understanding. There is more in those words than can truly be said.

Bless you all,
Tracy
