Question Tramacet

Hi all,

Has anyone ever tried Tramacet for their pain, and if so, any thoughts about it? Did it work?

Thanks
Rach

Default Did you mean tramadol?

One of my friends was on Tramadol (or Ultram) when she had a couple of ruptured discs in her back. I think they last longer and have fewer side effects than narcotic painkillers.

Hi Rachael! We had a long discussion about this a few weeks ago...here's a link to the thread:

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/sh...ad.php?t=11434

Victoria (gibbrn) is very knowledgeable about this med...it's called Tramacet in Canada, Ultracet in the U.S....along with several variations. With the "cet" ending, it has Tylenol (acetaminophen) in the drug, along with tramadol, which is a synthetic narcotic-like (but I believe it's non-narcotic) pain med.

Hope this helps!

Donna

Default Thanks Donna

I have much knowlage on this drug....I have taken both of them

Tramacet is great and it is a wonder drug for breakthrough pain......it works so well and no side effects aside from the tylenol use and it is ok to use for longer periods according to my pain physician.......

Ultram is great and it is better as there are less side effects like the narcs have!! I take 400mg a day one pill for 24hrs...... if you want to know more just PM me anytime happy to answer your questions!!

Sincerely,
Victoria
love and hugs
