Default Would have

Hi Peg, would have been in, our kids got out early due to the storm. I ran out to get french toast storm supplies. Bread, eggs and milk, well, adn fish and fries for tomorrow. Had to get our Valentines too.

Did you get the thunder storms, I saw the warnings and heavy rain headed to the coast?
We are going to have a 12 to 20 inches...Some sleet perhaps too. The schools for tomorrow are cancelled, and only have to worry over husband getting to work at 6:00 AM. It is supposed to snow through tomorrow afternoon.

See you in chat later,
Di

Hi Di,

I just needed to talk today to someone. My mother has just been diagnosed with lung cancer.

Guess, I have a rough haul ahead.

Yes, we got a bad storm today, but it blew through pretty quick. We had some really strong winds over 60mph. No damage, thank goodness.

That French toast sounds yummy. Breakfast is a great thing on a cold night.

I will chat with you later.

Peggy

Peg I am so sorry, that is terrible news. Is she close to you or family?
I will Pm you my number, and if you send yours I have free long distance we can talk anytime you need.

I am a going to say a prayer right now for her prognosis to be as good as possible and strength for your family.

Unhappy My heart goes out to you

Hi Peggy,

I am so sorry to hear of your mother's diagnosis. I truly hope this is an early stage and that there is something they can do to help her. I have much experience treating patients with lung cancer despite the fact that it has been five years since I have been nursing. Feel free to ask questions should you need to. Feel free to PM me if you need to get anything off your shoulder or your heart for that matter.

You're in my prayers, as is your mother and the rest of your family. I hope the dear Lord is blessing you with strength and the ability to cope with this burden as it will be a difficult ride I'm sure Di can attest to this.

love and huge hugs ,

Victoria

Frown And Peg...

I too am sorry for the sad news. I know how overwhelming it can be to find out; I remember how hard it was to hear about my Mother's breast cancer.

I will keep you in my prayers for this as well. Maybe this walk for breast cancer can serve a duel purpose and be a release for you as well as an encouragment as your Mother goes into treatment and recovery.

God Bless Dear One.

Gromlily ~

Default Peg,

I'm so sorry to hear of the news that you received today and I'm sorry that I wasn't around earlier to chat with you. I remember the day when I had found out about my fathers diagnosis with lung cancer. I was devistated.
You are in my prayers..
Many Hugs
Dawn
