Serrapeptase
Serrapeptase 80,000IU with MSM and Trace Minerals helps immensely, as it clears out the inflammation and dead/scar tissue. By clearing this problem tissue, it enables the nerve signal to work unimpeded and possibly the body’s own healing system to replace it with healthy tissue. http://www.serrapeptase.info/categor...-sclerosis-ms/ Digests non-living tissue, blood clots, cysts, arterial plaque, inflammation, internal scar tissue and may help some external scars particularly if new; any residues are either converted into amino acids or excreted in the normal manner. http://www.regenerativenutrition.com...lood-clots.asp http://www.raysahelian.com/serrapeptase.html http://www.naturalnews.com/028285_enzymes_scars.html Clinical trial for carpal tunnel and sciatic - same thing as tos : http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11225219 Other sources say the effet go up to 4 mounths AFTER treatment. It seems it's not the aids effect because : A major analysis of other conservative approaches found that patients had no significant relief from nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs include common pain relievers such as aspirin and ibuprofen (Advil). The same report also found no benefits from diuretics, magnet therapy, laser acupuncture, vitamin B6, exercise, or chiropractic care. Other approaches being investigated include omega-3 fatty acid supplements http://www.umm.edu/patiented/article...e_000034_8.htm . I'm adding to your data re joint/muscle pain side effects - I ordered the enzyme from Nutri-Health - object was relief of sciatic pain from traumatic injury of several years ago, on the theory that the nerve might be irritated by scar tissue. Total relief after 48 hours (4 doses of 20,000), but I continued it for a few more days to see if it would help with knee pain from torn meniscus. Overall achiness and finally real pain kept increasing to the point that I was finding it difficult to move when I found your site with the few references that matched my experience. I recovered from that effect after 2 days and stayed off the enzyme for a couple of weeks. Last week I tried it again to be certain and within 2 days began the pain once again. This time I have stopped the serrapeptase for good. There is probably no interaction involved as I take no prescription drugs, but do take many antioxidants and other supplements that reduce inflammation. However, I do test positive for rheumatoid arthritis although I am symptom-free through a strict diet. Maybe it can be a tos conservative treatment. Last edited by boytos; 10-19-2010 at 09:53 AM. |
