Hi all,
I am 1 week post op from a right rib ressection and sympathetic nerve clipping. I found the first 3 days hard but each day is getting better. My pain is surgical pain not the constant ache I had before. Hopefully it all stays that way. I feel way better than I anticipated I would it was not nearly as bad as I thought. I kept myself heavily medicated but am find as of yesterday I am able to cut down a bit. All I can say is stay on top of your pain. Don't be a tough guy. Take your medication before your pain is bad. Now I will find out in 4 weeks when I see my surgeon again if we are going to need to do the left side. I won't hesitate at all if I continue to have relief on the right shoulder. First time in over 2 years I have not had pain 24/7 - Good Luck to you all! |
