64-bit IE has tons of incompatibilities. The Windows default should always be 32-bit though. You should have to specifically access 64-bit via the start menu.
Consider Windows7, Vista is quite unstable in comparison to XP and 7.

I am very new to this speech recognition software thing and am wondering if anyone can give me any pointers/info on where to start with purchasing it/from whom at a reasonable price? I have spoken to a man in the Bay area who used to be a former patient of Dr. Ellis who has developed his own training program for the software to personalize it and also sells it. His training sessions are $120 per hour and he sells Dragonspeaking for $600 with a mic that does not go over/around your head for $200.
