I am wondering if anyone in here has been diagnosed with lateral epicondylitis(tennis elbow) as well. I have been diagnosed with tennis elbow due to numerous positive tests on physical examination but nothing indicated tennis elbown on my EMG. I am wondering why this didn't show. I have an extreme radiating pain when i lean on my elbow. The pain radiates from elbow down arm into pinky and ring finger. Also when i lean on my elbow, pain radiates from the elbow up my arm into my arm pit area. Does anyone else in here have this? On top of this I also have carpal tunnel. But I am wondering if anyone else with TOS has this elbow problem as well. I have been trying to avoid leaning on things with my elbows at all cost, but sometimes i do it subconsciously, out of habit and then wow, im sorry i did. Martina

Epicondylitis was one of my dx's during my RSI injury - but EMG did not confirm and actual nerve damage for me and that fits as mine did go away after good PT /selfcare.
For me that meant it was caused higher up perhaps by tension/sticky tissues. I remember how annoying and painful it was... to forget and lean or even arm rests in cars, pressure/touching on mattress when sleeping.. I didn't have any CT symptoms but a jammed up wrist sensation. same thing as cause - tension & tightness stemming from higher up.

If the nerve is inflamed in the neck it will be inflamed alllll the way down to the finger tips. Anywhere there is a hinge causes pain, or where you lean onto the sore spot, the funny bone that is not so funny, Our df jean from long time on the forum always recommended using "healbos" They are like heal shoe cups that you can place on the elbows to protect them. http://www.allegromedical.com/patien...s-p174286.html http://www.parentgiving.com/shop/ind...productID=3216 http://www.brucemedical.com/hb-09260.html http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&key...sl_eblhezse5_p
