No expert here, but sounds a little like a cookie problem to me.

p.s. just a note about what it says there in the FAQ.
If you're using some of the themes, the link doesn't show up as a link unless one hovers the pointer across the screen.

so where it says... "You may clear all your cookies by clicking here." The word "here" is actually a link, it just isn't underlined as a link in some of the themes.
