Default My Update

Hi Everyone,

I have a wonderful Doc who is doing everything for me at this point.

I still have not gotten my results from the lyme disease tests. They are testing for co-infections as well. My tests are going to specialized labs.

The Elisa test is very inaccurate for lymes.

But if I don't have lyme. My SX match M. S.

I am frighten to even have a MRI at this point. I was wondering if anyone had a Spect Scan? I am a bit in shock. Hugs, Roz

Unhappy very scary

Hi Roz,

I'm so sorry you have these possible Dx, be strong and wait for the test results. Big while you wait.

Very interesting vid on SPECT scan - thanks for that! Is this the same as a PET scan? My parents have had this scan for cancer.

Praying for an easy outcome for you,
Anne

Hi Folks,

I am still waiting for my results back from 2 labs. One of them is back
east.

About 2 1/2 months ago I was DX with cellulitis in my eyes. On 3
different antibiotics for 6 weeks. Now my right eye is really inflamed
and swollen again.

I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with their eyes, like this?

I also have nausea.
Hugs,
Roz xxx

Default younger son

Roz, the younger son had shingles, and it flared twice. Went into the eye.
He had eye medication tube of something, I think to numb, and also the valtrex.

His eye was all swollen and face irratated, we thought it was allergy at first from up at work. It ended up being the shingles.
I took a few weeks to clear up and then a few weeks later, he swelled again,

He had shingles once before across his back. I think like cellulitis it stays in your body, a week area it can flare.
I hope you feel better,
Di

My mom got Stevens Johnsons syndrome - it affected her eyes causing infections and corneal scarring.
She also had Pemphigus Vulgaris - they are very similar.
Both are autoimmune conditions.

Just wanted to mention them , just in case.

I have alot of nausea. My eye is totally inflammed, with puss coming out. I also have severe inflammation thru out my body.

I have been given a Malaria med. but it makes me so sick. I was told it would. But this eye stuff is a worry. Hugs, Roz
