does anyone here do this successfully?
i'm afraid i'm strengthening my scalenes instead or it doesnt feel like im diong ANYTHING at all. its an exercise where you tilt your head down like 1 mm and thats it |

my pt told me not to do it as hard as in those vids bc my scalenes start kicking in
first rib video is great, apparently both of mine are elevated. i thought it was just one |

I do this as part of my PT regimen. My therapist says if I feel any strain or activation at all I'm going too far. From what I understand you really aren't supposed to feel anything.

good! im glad other people have heard about this. other pts gave me similar exercises but i was waaay overdoing it i think and they didnt correct me. my scalenes are inflamed.
i think i found a good pt unfortunately his schedule is so busy that i can rarely even see him |

I am familiar with strengthening this muscle. Mine appears to be strong at this point but it has made no improvement on my tos. I sometimes move through my routine by rote and should pay attention more to how my scalenes activate. Thank you for the reminder.
