Default pec minor treatment

Evidence suggests I have pec minor involvement as well but the doctors I have consulted do not perform the pec minor tenotomy. I am hoping those of you who have had this procedure done, had a pec minor block, or have spoken to a surgeon who does treat this area as well could give me the name of your doctor. This would be a big help. If you are not comfortable posting any names publicly, please PM me.

Also, if anyone knows of any non-surgical pec minor treatments please share them!

Default Pec Minor

hi pixified,
I had bilateral pec minor tenotomy on April 11th, 2011...in St-Louis Missouri. MY surgeon is Dr. Robert Thompson, regarded as one of the best and most competent TOS surgeon-specialist in NorthAmerica.

I am not feeling better yet, and the pain from the surgery has got a lot better. I have suffered since January 2007...but could not find any help (I live in Montreal, Canada).

The surgery was very costly for me, and I will need to do 2 more surgeries, but have no idea how I can afford them, unless my Medicare in Canada is willing to pay.

Good luck, and please keep me posted.

non-surgical pec minor treatments

The only thing I can think of is a good long term stretching plan & maybe some bodywork or even expert chiropractic care.
A self care plan can be set up by an expert PT or body worker and get you started off with proper form and such.
Any adjustments or personalization to the plan can be done in a few visits, or you could work it out by trail and error your self with web videos and such can show proper alignment for nearly all stretches.

Much depends on how bad your pain/sx of pec minor are.
how long you've been affected by sx from it?
and how you acquired it? - repetitive or static desk work, or a specific injury to the area?

What are your sx that point to pec minor ?- I forgot what the general or main sx of it are.
