Default Dr. Agnew - Santa Barbara

Dr. Agnew is a Neurologist and Pain Management MD
His curric vitae reads like a book.

O man,
I wish I could have found this doc 7 years ago
He is so knowledgable about the anatomy and TOS
Knows, Saunder, Avery and Collins very well.
He can read films like a radiologist and more so, seriously.

My second visit went good.
Master P is extatic with his findings and which direction we need to follow.

I had been in a flare for weeks
He gave me an injection into the pectoral minors
O boy, I was a baby
What Dr. Agnew said was that I didn't need injections into my elbows or traps it was my pec's and the brain was just firing constantly with pain.

I had relief for several hours, you guys
I didn't want to pee or anything.
Just wanted the meds to stay in there and keep the pain away
It's a diagnostic tool, not like a trigger injection that I (we) can have every day to give us relief.

My next step is to find a physical therapist that will work with him for an extended period of time.
This will help and the deciding factor if I need more surgery which I will never say never.
But, I can get relief, not a cure with the correct PT.

All I can type...
Everyone, have a blessed pain free day.

Been in a flare for weeks now
Headaches, neck pain galore
Tons of bilateral elbow, trap and arm pain.
Nothing is helping
Except for the day I saw Dr. Agnew
Wish I could have those injections everyday.
Gotta find a therapist down here in OC sooner than soon to work with him per the doc.
