grr now my pt is saying that she doesnt think i have tos this whole time, that i have rsd

i guess that would explain the 24/7 hand numbness im experiencing but i have never had my hands change colors and im not sensitive to the touch, nor have i had any skin changes..

here's my diagnosis RSI/TOS/droopy shoulder syndrome complicated by hypermobility syndrome and possible hormonal/vitamin deficiencies, ive read the really bad ones can take up to two years to heal.

maybe RSI isn't a real diagnosis tho or people dont understand it unless you have straight up carpal tunnel

PT thinks RSD or RSI?? - TOS & RSD or TOS/RSI??
I'm confused...

Some sx do overlap but after you read on the RSD forum & the sticky threads you will see the main differences between them (RSD & TOS).
But some w/ long term TOS can end up with RSD also.
mainly because the nervous systems gets out of whack and then the RSD starts showing up.

my pt says rsd, never mentioned rsi and doesnt even think i have tos

i dont think i have rsd, but the mild edema i get is confusing to me but people with rsi AND tos get that also

those paralyzing neck spasms i had I KNOW were tos. ive read these boards enough to understand.

im starting to think the "official diagnosis" doesnt even matter..just the treatment. my lower t-spine is ridiculously tight. pt is trying to loosen it up.

thank you, i did not know the technical name for it
and only one pt has ever mentioned it to me

it gives me major relief which i take to mean my shoulder is just hanging off my body like it needs a brace.

COMPRESSION vs traction

im wondering if you have that area not circulating for a long long time would that just make your hands numb numb for like months and months, that's the part i dont get

i like taking antioxidants a lot too, which would support that.

if only my left side were the same, it's very hard to treat sides where the pain is radically different
