Default Hi from Tamara

I don't know how the friend thing works. Is it like PMs? I don't get it and don't know how to send messages anymore.

Love ya, Tam

Talking Hi back at ya

The good news is that my thyroid cancer is gone. The bad news is I am fighting to keep two of my salivary glands functioning that were wounded by the radioactive iodine therapeutic dose. I am also healing from radiation burns inside my mouth. That was from the diagnostic dose.

Thanks for the invite, but unless I get laid off again my personal days are all used up as they accrue either for doctors or to be with my fiance, who lives in a nearby state. I hope you have a good gathering.

Leading in to my fantastic news that I am engaged.

[SIZE="4"]Dear friend,

I am so sorry you had to go through the thryoid surgery, and now the further complications.I wonder why your company requires you to save up days to see aq doctor, rather than just let you go. Is there no way an attoryney can prove that this is related to work or find that this is illegal? I feel so mad for you that you have to work sick, and save up these days, I am so sorry.

I am happy[ about the engagement - are you really happy? If so, I am really appreciative of this news/SIZE]

Default Thanks for congrats

Tam I am very happy and very certain he feels the same. We have been friends a very long time but let being shy get in our way. I met him when I was 17 and I am 50 something now.

Also I do not work when I am sick. I have no distinction between personal and sick time, they come from the same leave bank. I got short tern disability for surgery but was denied it for radioactive iodine. That is an insurance company fight which I hate. The position is that I was depressed and that is a pre-existing condition. Evil insurers. Never mind I was in isolation and a danger to my co-workers.

Heart a big ol' HEY!

Hi Tamara, I'm sorry you are still having such a hard time. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, girl. Thanks for checking in!

Tied, congrats on your engagement! You know it's real love when pain doesn't scare them away. So happy for you!! and glad you have made it thru the thyroid stuff - good luck on the salavatory glands (my SIL is undergoing the same).

I'm working hard on some childhood issues and of course pain goes along with... well, just about everything, doesn't it? Still turning down the nerve oblation surgery as long as I have some decent days. Coaching my brother thru Advanced Cervical Degeneration pain. Trying to heal my heart and DH #2's as well. Still caring for elderly mom, but on a much scaled back schedule (for psych reasons). We got her "Life Alert", a great alternative to a facility! 1 child graduated college, 1 a Jr. this year.

Psych Doc says to find some "fun" things to do in my life. We all know how hard that is to do. I signed up for an Organic Gardening class in Feb. (all materials provided, no carrying stuff!)

Default love to all

Dear Friends,

I am fighting for my life again.

It's been 119 out here, and that's the trigger for my lungs to freeze up and I get allergic infections from everything.

I went to court - as just one example, my doc sent me to a dentist as my meds have made me lose whole teeth and veneers, etc. It took the other side to send me 2/12 hours to another dentist. The the examiner said, "oh, this is not a real UR, so I am going to UR their own dentist (because he believed in me and wrote a perfect report.

So again we have her doing illegal things but the judge won't even listen to us. We were trying to show the proof of these things, and more, and because my attorney didn't understand it, she let it go...

Since then, I have been my sickest again.

Yes, I hate insurance companies.

Default (((Tam)))

I don't know if it will help you but I use a product called Biotene. It draws out a lot of yucky stuff that I can't get with just brushing and flossing. And I too hate insurance companies.
