Confused Hypothroidism and TOS?

Hi,

I was diagnosed with hashimotos about 6 yrs ago, put on Levoxyl, and thought things were ok. Then, I started feeling lethargic and depressed about a year ago. Saw an endrocrinologist last spring and he thought I could get off the meds. After several months I was weaned off meds. This lasted just a couple months until my TSH levels were way off and he said it wasn't working and got me back on levoxyl. During this time my fingers in my rt hand were starting to go numb. It of course took several months before being diagnosed with TOS. I am wondering if being hypothyroid for those few months somehow contributed to causing TOS? Anyone have any idea?
