Default car seat cushion?

anyone here bought a car seat cushion or got recs?

i'm very picky but i figure someone with tos would understand. i need lumbar support too but i don't like having a cushion or anything near my upper trap, neck area. i start to get anxious

Some car seats are not comfortable at all for me, they just don't fit me right and/or force my head forward... I'm on the short side...

luckily my older Volvo has nice seats and I only use a sheepskin seat cover for a little softness and for no sweat/no cold leather seats...

What kind of car/seats do you have ?? - too narrow, too wrap around..

i love volvos, they ride smooth and from what i remember are so comfy

this is a 2007 honda fit i am buying from my parents so i have to find a work around.

so i drew an old diagram of my old civic vs the new fit.
old civic=relatively comfy. i inserted a lumbar pad and i was fine

new fit= the gas pedal and brakes are very sensitive which tenses up my neck a bit, but i think i will get used to it
cushions have extra padding around the edges and not in the middle. i do not like that!
also has a shorter steering wheel and i am skinny so my knees bump into each other too
the headrest was awful and pushed head forward so i just took it off

its an awesome car otherwise but they could use this as a way to dx tos, srsly, it's that uncomfortable. if i sit in the wrong kind of seat i start to feel really nauseous.

I looked up the interior photos of the fit, might take some trial & error to get a really good comfortable workaround.....

Does the seat raise or lower at all? Or seat base tilt? or only the seat back can be reclined?

oh good idea, i don't know if the seat base can tilt. i will try that

i put in a mesh lumbar support thing

i highly rec them, i got mine from my dad (this is not my car fwiw, random 'net photo)

with a tempurpedic pillow under my butt so i don't feel like im falling back into the seat too much

i developed a huge trigger point today in my left pec and i know its from the steering wheel being too far away but if i move the wheel closer my knees are cramped.

also apparently there's a lot of complaints about the FIT seats.

so anyone tall with tos

GET TELESCOPIC STEERING, it is an absolute must. my fingers were tingling all last night

i am actually convinced this seat could give a healthy person TOS

-steering wheel far away, so you have to reach forward encouraging pec minor strain
-forward headrest
