Do your symptoms change if your head is tilted down for a period of time, like when reading a book or using a tablet computer?

Yes, looking down is one of the worst things for me, very painful. Even a web page that can't be scrolled is bad, if I have to look down at the bottom of the computer screen.

Same here. Probably contributing / caused by forward head posture and myself having a long neck. Of course, holding an iPad up to eye level hurts my forearms / hands so it's a no win for me in that way. Thank god for audio books I guess.

Interesting. Thanks for the responses. For me, it's dizziness, particularly when I come back up.

I was looking down at the moving steps to correct my footing then looked back up to focus on the top and lost my balance almost, I had the sensation that I was about to fall back |

Regarding the reading, I think it was Peter Edgelow who suggested trying a music stand raised up to head height. And I think someone else in these forums found glasses with mirrors.
Just some ideas... |
