i most definetly cannot do this! I can't even put my hands on my hips if my wrists arent bent inwards (i.e. arms are in the same position as if my hands were on my hips, but its really the top of my hand thats resting on my hips - not my palms). don't worry, you're definetly not alone.

Have you tried to do the motion in a "pulsing" way? And maybe look towards the hand that youre pulsing, i find that that usually helps.

thanks, i tried the pulse thing! not looking at my hand tho, that's a good idea.

my pt can do it on my right side very rarely but never my left and i think its bc its too aggressive
