My other side was operated on about 8 years ago and is so far doing great but I'm still hesitant to go the surgery route.

Thanks, Sheri. I appreciate the insight.

Chroma - I'm sorry I totally forgot to ask how much the shots are out of pocket. If/when I have a schedule another round, I will definitely ask.

Actually I was thinking Sheri_TOS would know since she paid out of pocket.

One week later...

I'm still bruised at one of the injection sites in my chest.

My neck has been more stiff than usual over the past few days.

Definitely no improvement in my circulation thus far.

We'll see what happens next week.

Hi Chroma -

Unfortunately work has been really hectic this week, and I have been working 10 hr days. My friend works at a massage clinic near my house though - maybe she can get me in this weekend.

Thanks for thinking of me.

Hi all,

No change so far unfortunately. If anything I've had more pain in the back section deep in my shoulder recently. I plan to call Dr. Donahue this week to touch base and see where to go from here.

Feeling a little disheartened. I was talking to a friend who is a nurse this past week who suggested I advocate for a MRI as that is a diagnostic test I haven't had yet.

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

Ladylaura... Most TOS surgeons do not go by mri's in my experience. They prefer the ct scan. That being said, dr. Werden does premote his special mri machine, if you got $10,000 or good medical coverage.
PS, I think you are in good hands in Boston

Cheers,

Oh, and FYI I did botox injectons for one year every 4 months. I really didnt think it gave me great relief until it wore off, then I realized what I was missing.
