thanks for your input guys means alot, but my main involvement is with the arteries, all neurological symtpoms are pretty mild its the compression on the arteries that the surgeon is telling me about .

Have you seeked out a 2nd opinion? Or 3rd?

My subclavian artery is compressed, but blood flow is good. I had one vascular surgeon who thought it was imperitive that I schedule surgery asap. Another who thought the complete opposite.

Amazing how the "same" situation can look so different to different "experts." I don't envy anyone who has to make the decision of whether or not to do the surgery. There are no "right or wrong" answers, IMO.

Do you ever get a sensation of your pulse in your body around your neck or chest? I mean sensing it through your body, not using your hands. Just curious.

I get that and stronger on the symptomatic side than the other.
