Thoracic outlet syndrome. Pec minor syndrome.
Throw another syndrome on the barbie!
Quote:
"There is growing research that indicates that many people suffering from TMJ disorders and related disorders have a central nervous system that is “stuck in high gear,” which can make them hypersensitive. I will use Dr Yunus’s term of central sensitivity syndrome (CSS) when I refer to this phenomena."

From the book "The TMJ Healing Plan" which I'm reading because I'm fortunate enough to have TOS, TMJ and probably pec minor syndrome as well. Which just feels like a giant network of evil.
Here is the reference from the book:
"M. B. Yunus, “Central Sensitivity Syndromes: A New Paradigm and Group Nosology for Fibromyalgia and Overlapping Conditions, and the Related Issue of Disease Versus Illness,” Seminars in Arthritis and Rheumatism 37 (June 2008): 339-52; P. Svensson, T. List, and G. Hector, “Analysis of Stimulus-evoked Pain in Patients with Myofascial Temporomandibular Pain Disorders,” Pain 92, no. 3 (June 2001): 399-409. 11 Steven L. Kraus, Temporomandibular"
I haven't looked into it further, but just from the book's reference, it seems that this is something that some of us could be suffering from.
