so two weeks ago the palms of both my hands became drastically less numb. now they are back to being numb again, talk about maddening. i have no idea why

i'll post some good tos articles here later.

update

i had my rbc magnesium tested again, it's still very low. last nov it was a 4.7 (4.2-6.8) and now it's just a 5.0...need to be at least 5.5

so i can actually predict when my right fingers will tingle.

basically my right shoulder tends to want to hunch up, during exercise or in general. this is from weak s.a. and i can push above the area and it makes my hands tingle so im trying to pay attn to keeping that shoulder locked down

mspennyloafer 09-11-2012 12:55 PM

im going to try drinking less water and see if my rbc mg increases

i could be just peeing out my electrolytes. with the autonomic dysfunction and blood sugar issues this is easy to do

mspennyloafer 09-26-2012 11:05 AM

drinking less water and taking slow release is working

if i skip a few days doing cable rows my rt shoulder starts to wing so the cable rows are working! im excited

i know resistance bands suck but i like this exercise (and cable rows)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWoSXjzyHOQ

first time i did it my ring finger went really numb but it definitely gets your lower trap

most shoulder exercises fire up my pecs even when my shoulder is in a good position

mspennyloafer 10-10-2012 10:19 AM

so next step is trying to get the spectrecell micronutrition panel

if that comes in normal i will try to get tested for venous tos

i got braces!!!!!! i can't grind my teeth anymore. it's not possible because they don't rest on each other really. so far so good.

ive taken pics and my kyphosis is much improved from last june even..but still numb hands, still tight muscles and feel like im scared to move, sigh

mspennyloafer 10-16-2012 12:40 PM

ive noticed generally (n=1)

i need to avoid ANY pushing exercises, i use my pecs too much, that includes serratus punches blah blah
pulling exercises are fine tho

also rotator cuff exercises are so overrated

my digestion is severely messed up. i think i have SIBO

im taking coq10 again, i dunno why

^ so that exercise isnt workin for me turns out

now doing face pulls. however, i do not pull to my face. it's more of a shoulder pull, this is helping. i dont extend my elbow back behind my shoulder. im trying to find a decent pic.

i can tell if i exercise properly because the next day my pecs and or lats will be VERY tight..if it's done wrong. the shoulder pulling hasn't caused this.

i definitely have lumbar issues. need an mri

is a good article on low back pain

i took too much magnesium again and fortunately this time i vomittted a few horus later. so grateful!! during this time, unlike last time, i did not notice a huge difference in pain levels..which is good, i think i have more magnesium now or the pt is working./healing.either way.

lazy notes on whats helped me:
overall

magnesium (making sure i have normal bowel movements, otherwise it will not be absorbed..too lose bad, constipated bad)
keeping blood sugar stable (but eating SOME carbs otherwise that causes constipation)
core strengthening

fixing
scalenes

soft collar neck brace (huge improvement)
palate expander for deep bite (huge improvement, eventually i will get tmj appliance after braces. i always had mild tmj but the whiplash sent me over the edge)
keeping chin slightly tucked in at ALL TIMES
this stretch, i do daily, amazing great stretch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiU1PCxuFyU
first rib mobilization with a towel, i only do this like once every 2 weeks or whenever i feel the need
keeping hips in neutral as much as possible, it's hard to explain but if i sit with them rotated forward i get subtle pain in my neck
strengthening for serratus anterior and learning to move arms without shrugging (before when i rested on my side my shoulder would just flop forward and up, since s.a. exercises it does not HOWEVER.......i am limited with the s.a. strengthening because when i activate it, my p minor starts to tighten up and i get a temporary "bp cuff in your arm pit feeling" which i believe is the heart of my problem.. p minor syndrome plus multiple stretch/compression issues in that area. not in the scalene first rib area)

fixing
p minor..

still workin on this :(
pushing my hand down on my boob and then straightening arms out in all directions helps but it's only temporary

levator pain

This is technically not tos but can feel like it....it means my shoulders are rotating downwardly too much and can refer awful pain up into my neck

mspennyloafer 12-22-2012 03:16 PM

So in multiple sources I've read about how the collarbone scissors the first rib in droopy shoulder syndrome and if u strengthen the shoulder girdle the collarbone and thus the entire shoulder are in a different position (not the first rib)

I have this in my right side. It is NOT scalenes. It feels weird but like something I could control... It's not like that muscular compression I'm gonna vomit and pass out from pain type feeling

Still doesn't explain both hands being numb

Getting venogram and p minor block
