We've already talked about magnesium elsewhere. Any other supplements that people have found useful?
I was thinking about cayenne pepper to boost circulation. You can cook with it, get the powder or even buy it in capsule form. I have not tried it myself. http://tlc.howstuffworks.com/family/...l-remedies.htm Experiences? Musings? |

Also root ginger is an all time winner, it's a powerful anti-inflammatory herb and a warming remedy which is good for boosting circulation!!!!! I found root ginger very beneficial...... can't understand why I'm not using it at the moment????? I'm going shopping today and that will be my first item to buy. http://www.herbwisdom.com/herb-ginger-root.html |

great ideas, i have AWFUL circulation tos or no tos and when i feel my best veins in my hands are bulging which i dont think is a coincidence
vit d but im sure you guys knew that i am taking a small dose of iodine and selenium which indirectly could contribute to pain through thyroid and bi-estro and a progesterone cream. i think i would benefit most from testosterone cream but i'm gonna hold off on that for now. they do not sell a bioidentical version otc. (i wont go into graphic details but the creams ARE legit) i wouldnt take ANY OF THESE tho unless you have tested. i am just farting around with the idea that hormones affect pain levels. this probably wouldve been more helpful if i listed all the supplements i took that didnt do crap one supplement i wouldnt rec is zyflammend. you can take it for a few days but no more than that. it upset my stomach big time

Curcumin is very good. There has been a study saying it is as good a Lipitor for reducing endothelial inflammation. (improvement).
You have to get a form that advertises good absorption. This will cost a bit more but is very worth it. Curcugel LongVida Curcumin are two enhanced types. I think there are others now too. Grapeseed extract is also very good. 300mg or more a day and it reduces inflammation too. Fish oil or Krill oil also good for inflammation and for thinning the blood a little bit. Use herbs like ginger etc only if you are not on a blood thinner. Ask your doctor if you take warfarin or something else before starting fish oils or herbs.
