well doc said that my xray looked normal and my trans process didnt look big, i still want a copy though. i need to see it.
next im getting evaluated for tmj

i'm going to request a copy of an xray..its weird bc i dont remember getting an xray done and its not showing up on the internet under aetna either
tossucks was yours REALLY big? what constitutes really big, do you know? did you pass your emg/ncv..blood flow tests? you still post here so am i to assume the surgery was a flop? do you have a cervical rib

Maybe I am confusded....did you mean a elongated C7 transverse processes, or actually enlarged? I had the first, not the latter. I have never heard of enlarged, but who knows?
And no cervical rib here. |

no i mean elongated. my pt said large but wahtever, she means elongated
how did you dx yours, did you recover at all? you have tos still right/ i mean lengthwise..is it really obvious in an xray that its too long

It was not detected on any of the scans/x-rays I had, was not found until the surgeon got me open. I had severe compression on the Arteries and Veins. No amount of pt or stretching could fix it, but it was not an issue until I had an injury in the wearhouse at work.

that's crazy
so you were getting a scalenectomy i guess or?? if i ever get better i am walking around with a body cast on, no joke. i'm scared to death of accidents now.

I played basketball but was never good or tall enough to go pro. I am now grateful that I was never able to play pro. This pain has changed my entire outlook on high injury risk sports. I still watch a lot of sports, but the injuries and near misses I see seem to amplify my own pain. This latest NFL scandal about coaches offering incentives to purposely injure opposing players sickens me.
