Default Spasms

I have still been getting a lot of spasms in both arms and neck. I am wondering if there is something wrong with neck. I know from an mri that I have a mild disc bulge at c5 c6 but nothing the doc was considered. When I move my right arm around, I sometimes get a click noise near neck and I feel some type of movement in left arm. I have slowly been getting better. Less tingling, but still a lot of trigger points and muscle spasms. Just wondering if anyone experience the same. I know scm still tightens and get dizzy once in awhile, but therapy after shoulder surgery is progressing and when I stretch left arm, some symptoms decrease and neck loosens.

Have you had an EMG? This should rule out a c-spine issue. When I was having c-spine issues certain neck positions or motions increased my symptoms. I had c5-c6-c7 fused to resolve. Now all of my symptoms are based on arm & shoulder positioning. I can move my neck into any position without increase in symptoms while my arms are at my sides.

I am 8 years into this, and every year is different. I was having spasms in my legs and arms,. then that stopped and fingers started, but now, this year, have you ever burned your finger tips and had no feeling for months? That's what I have now - the finger pads are like dead.

This is a baffling condition, and even in the past 4 years it turned into a condition much like myesthenia gravis - it was so so similar, and it's only one aspect of this condition that comes and goes.

If I could write I'd keep a journal of symptoms,,but I just have to use my head to remember all of the different strange changes. I think the accupuncture that I started two months ago started terrible pain spots on my back.

Keep a list of what makes you feel better, and even so, these rememdies don't always work.

I did have an EMG and it showed everything was fine. When I had recent shoulder surgery, they did a nerve block in the area, and my neck felt great for a couple days, therefore I think it is all the TOS.
