Ooo Second Surgery Update!

Hello everyone and thank you for the good wishes. I will be quick, it was not a good experience as you can see in my pic, I feel like I have been hit by a truck. First full day after surgery and had interesting news from the surgeon. Will fill in later.

Lost coordination in use of right arm and knocking things over or not picking up cups. Lots of other issues related to the side effects which I will explain later. Taken me of meds already and miss them Awful reflux issues with anything I try to consume. Not a happy camper at the moment.

The pic was taken this morning.

I had a similar experience post surgery and was karate chopping when I just tried to move my arm an inch. I couldn't make a fist either. It took a couple of days but it got better. I'm still not strong enough to pick up a full cup of liquid yet though. Hang in there!

I'm curious to hear the interesting news from the surgeon.

Eeep, looks painful.
I am glad my surgeon uses the trans axillary surgery.
I had a fair amount of complications after my first surgery, I felt awful.
I hope you feel better soon.
Seems soon to be stopping pain meds?
Take care

Hang in there, Blurto. This, too, shall pass. I hope you're receiving good care in the hospital. Thinking of you!

That is a big incision. We're curious about the "interesting" news part. It will get easier as the incision heals.
