25-30°
My collarbones angle up 25-30°. I had an angle finder in my toolbox and I laid it on there. I have no idea what normal is.

it seems like everyone here is different,
does that mean it doesnt really affect things? |
I can't hardy find mine:o, but they do angle up/out to shoulder area, not level.
Very few images on Google had level collar bones. Probably one of those maybe it plays a part, and maybe it doesn't things. |
Look at a skeletal image. I had one from a TOS link, but having problems uploading.
Looking at old pictures, mine were symmetrical and somewhere between horizontal and 30 degrees. Both were very prominent. When my TOS was at the worst, my left probably angled at 60 degrees and was barely visible. Today, they both seem to reside at 45 degrees, but the left outer 1/3 is hard to see. I'm slightly obsessed with looking at people's clavicles and the Academy Awards and Emmy type shows provide excellent clavicle viewing :D. |
LOL yes they are all so slim...some are really noticeable too.

My collarbone on my right side is angled more and sticks out which makes sense because that shoulder isnt stable and sticks off my back
But my other side has the elevated rib :( |
My TOS is primarily on my left. When it was at its worst in summer of 2011, it was tilted ever so slightly down.
I'm guessing that tilted slightly up is the correct anatomy and that going to far in either direction causes problems or is a sign of problems. But I don't yet know what the healthy range of the angle is. |
