I think I'll see Ando. I'm also considering surgery, but can't take 8 weeks off.

TOS surgery is also hit and miss and mostly is an exploratory surgery. The Dr. might know that you have TOS, but he won't know exactly where it is and what is going on inside until he opens you up (thus the exploratory nature of TOS surgery).

Agreed! Hopefully this will change soon once 7T MRI becomes more mainstream and accessible.

Let us know what you think. I am still going there 2x a week. Tell him Marc and ***** referred you. I think they are really good. Make sure you see Ando the first time. i usually see him once a week and Char the other time, because I am limited in time because of traffic. how far do you have to travel? Ando works on my ribs and Char works more on deep tissue/muscles. I feel like I'm getting better-even tho I still have flare-ups.

Must be this one..

[7T MRI provides the potential for microscopic spatial resolution visualizing anatomy previously unseen.]

James Spousa is also very good. He's trained by Ando but he is a much bigger/stronger guy and he is very aggressive. Ando is by far the most skilled with the ribs and spinal adjustments, but I find Spousa's nerve mobilizations to be the best (if you can stand the pain). I see both of them by choice.

I agree with others that PT has value. But I'm curious about the push-ups. They tend to tighten up my chest which increases my TOS symptoms. Are there particular studies that have been done with TOS patients and push-ups that I don't know about?

In my experience, any exercise that puts weight on my hands is too much for the nerves and muscles involved. For me even Down Dog (yoga ) is too much.Best to go to a PT with experience in TOS ,others just make it worse.

Dr. Ando Rocks! I sprained my calf muscle on sunday and he looked at it for me and did a little massage on it and they showed me how to use the crutches correctly, even gave me a missing part. After that did the regular rib and pec minor release. I cant say enough good things about them.

TOStrojan: Have you seen Ando yet?

I agree. Anything that strengthens the chest is a no-no for TOS sufferers in my experience.

Ando is the best...even when it comes to nerve mobilizations as he proved to me yesterday!!! James is still great, but Ando seems to be a PT Jedi Master!!!
