So I went to my neurologist today, and told her about the Lhermitte. She stated that a lot of ms patients have it. She did a full check up on me, and ordered a mri of brain and cervical. Last mri showed one active lesion on brain and none on spinal cord, but showed a mild disc bulg c5 c6. She said they will make sure that did not change. I know that when I had a nerve block for my shoulder surgery (labrum repair) all my symptoms on left side were gone for 48hrs. I assume that is a good sign that all problems are coming from tos. I will schedule mri and wait and see.

About a year ago my neurologist has insisted that I get 3T (Tesla) MRI instead of 1.5T (avoid open MRI completely) when it comes to brain and C-Spine. I would advise you to do the same.

L'Hermittes can be caused by any damage to the spine and not only related to MS, although it is common in MS. I have L'Hermittes due to MS. In the case of MS, L'Hermittes is caused by lesion(s) on the cervical spinal cord.

I never do open mri. I believe the place I go to is 3T.
Snoopy- my neurologist ordered both brain and cervical mri for that exact reason.
