Angry levator help!

My levator muscles and a little bit of my rhomboids just gave me an awful flare up.

The muscles aren't spasming. They feel like they're *alive* and swollen tender and needly. Then it spreads to.my scalenes and ribs creep up

What is this! Could this be caused from just a small part of my BP being compressed or is it inflammed?? The muscles or the nerves irritating the muscles. I have tight pecs but they don't light up like this

Any advice appreciated tia. I want to.go to a docvwith some specific ideas of how to treat this as I don't trust doctors.

So both the rhomboids & levator are attached to the scapula, so that could be something to do with the winging...?
did you try anything new that might have set them off?

How many or how long were you doing the cable rows??
with weights or tension too??

I didn't start doing that sort of stuff until my pain/sx were down to a 1-2 on the pain scale.. and the PTs started me slowly to see how I did with it.

I think after a while with TOS the fascia gets involved or maybe even before , but it all becomes an interweaved web, one thing affects the other and on and on...round and round...

You have a lot of extra things going on too, so I think taking it extra easy on your self is the key.

[that feeling that my muscles are "alive"]
Is it like a buzzing/inner vibration?? I had that in my forearms for a long time early on...very weird sensation...

Thanks Jo*mar,
its been awhile since I've been on, but would like to say that the pressurepoint link is so relevant for me at the moment. So, my triggerpoints!!!!
I had noticed AGAIN, started last week after lifting too heavy a load of shopping bags, I think????? Pain in my rhomboid, occipital neck/head area tightening, dizziness, tooth ache type pain in my jaw and my upper eye lid going into a spasm. It's definitely related to my shoulder region, I'm sure..... yet if you suggest this to a specialist, they look at you as if your nuts???? Are we all in the wrong profession???
Thanks for your pressurepointer links.
I'm 9 months post op and still living with TOS.........I guess its time to accept it.
Best wishes to all TOS folks.
